Jack’s Bio

Giacomo (Jack) has been in the flooring business since 2000. Jack started as a subcontractor installing floors with his wife, Liliana (the ‘L’ of the company). From there he started bringing samples to his customers in their home which turned into J & L Flooring we bring the showroom to you. Jack is always looking to learn and grow and has become a qualified installer of various flooring manufacturers. In January 2011 Jack opened up the showroom and has been happily serving customers since. At the heart of the company is Jack’s eagerness to make sure that your home is treated how he would treat his own. Outside of running the business Jack is involved with various community organizations including; Terry Fox Run, Chamber of Commerce, coaching and sponsoring soccer teams.

How did you get started in the business?

Started off installing, was a subcontractor (owner), sell products and would get samples from Rona to sell to customers, grew to J&L flooring we bring the showroom to you, Jack & Liliana – my wife used to help install, 10 years ago opened up own showroom.

Did you go to school anywhere for this? or have specialities in it – from where?

Product of manufacturers – learned their ways of doing it, endorsed by them, qualified installer of their products.

Something special about you

I care about our customers, am very organized, meticulous, take on objects as if it were his own home.

Do you do anything within the community?

Board for Terry Fox for 13 years, coach soccer for 13 years, sponsor the teams, board of chamber of commerce for 5 years NF.

Why are you in this business?

Thought I could make a difference, floor with integrity (flooring inspectors), make sure jobs are done properly, always wanted to my own business.
